1. About RentForAlbania
RentForAlbania is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects car owners (“hosts”) with people who wish to rent a car (“renters”) in Albania. RentForAlbania is not a party to the rental agreement between hosts and renters; it provides the platform that facilitates the connection.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to rent or list a car.
3. Bookings & payments
Booking requests are confirmed once the host approves them. In the current version of the platform, no card payment is taken online; payment and any deposit are arranged directly between host and renter at pick-up. Hosts set their own prices, deposit and rules.
4. Cancellations
Renters and hosts may cancel a booking before pick-up. Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to account restrictions. Any deposit handling is agreed directly between the parties.
5. Conduct & content
You agree to provide truthful listings and reviews, to treat other members respectfully, and not to misuse the platform. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Insurance & liability
Hosts are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are roadworthy and appropriately insured. RentForAlbania provides guidance but is not an insurer and is not liable for incidents occurring during a rental.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
